After “stuffing” yourself with yummy foods, walk off your meal at our Festival of Lights. The mile-long outdoor walking trail is the perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit. On the trail, you’ll see various lighted displays set to music. You can also skate around on the area’s only outdoor ice skating rink (bring your own skates or rentals available for $7), try out our Arctic Ice Slide or take pictures with Santa. Festival admission is $10.95 (includes ice skate admission).
Every Thursday at Festival of Lights is Food Drive Thursdays. Food Drive Thursdays offer the opportunity to enjoy the Festival of Lights and get a special discount to help those in need this holiday season. Bring a non-perishable food item every Thursday throughout the Festival and receive a two-for-one Festival admission. The food will be donated to the Galveston County and Houston Food Bank.
Enjoy the excitement of the holiday shopping season at our Home for the Holidays Gift Market. On Friday, November 27 and Saturday, November 28, browse more than 150 vendors with items ranging from clothing, candles, soaps, jewelry, home décor and more. Admission is $6.00 per ticket and when you buy one, you’ll get one free. Hotel guests will receive complimentary admission. Teachers get in free both days (with id), Admission to Festival of Lights is $5.95 with a Home for the Holidays Gift Market ticket.
Want to see what winter feels like in other parts of the country? Visit Ice Land Ice Sculptures and see 2 million pounds of ice transformed into majestic marvels. The 30 feet tall sculptures are housed in our insulated tent and kept at 9 degrees. Don’t worry, all guests will receive parkas to keep warm. Adults are $26.95 and seniors (65+) and children (4-12) are $21.95.
