Moody Gardens Palm Beach opens for the summer with new attractions and entertainment. Various beach attractions include the 650-foot lazy river, wave pool and two 18-foot tower slides. Visitors are invited to sink their toes in the sand, lounge beneath the palm trees and enjoy the concerts and fireworks. New improvements this year include additional private cabanas and bamboo lounges.
Palm Beach will be open weekends starting May 19, including Memorial Day. The attraction opens daily June 2 – Aug. 19. As the summer season winds down, Palm Beach will be open weekends only Aug. 25-Labor Day on Sept. 3. Admission is $23.95 for adults, $18.95 for children and seniors, or $65 for a season pass. Children age 3 and younger get in free.
Enjoy the Bands on the Sand summer music series, June 8 – Aug. 11 Friday and Saturday nights from 6-10 p.m. Each show features local and regional R&B, rock, country and blues bands. Admission is $15 and children age 3 and younger get in for free. Each performance ends with a fireworks display over Offats Bayou, overlooking the Moody Gardens pyramids.

Moody Gardens is taking visitors on a Jurassic adventure when Dinos Alive returns to Galveston Island this summer. Featuring life-like animatronic dinosaurs, including a full-size Tyrannosaurus, Dinos Alive guests become part of a rescue team sent back in time to search for a missing plane and its crew.
Along the way, they will get an up-close and personal experience with some of the most feared and amazing creatures to ever roam Planet Earth. Dinos Alive will also feature a hands-on archeological dig site, as well as a gift shop and photo opportunity.
The exhibit runs June 2 to August 12. Admission is $8.95.
