Summertime is for Children at Moody Gardens Hotel, Spa and Convention Center

Summer is in full swing at Moody Gardens Hotel and while it’s easy to be enamored with the billiards in the Garden Cay, adult lounge area and swim-up bar at the outdoor pool and fine dining at Shearn’s Seafood and Prime Steaks, it’s often the littlest ones that remind us what summer vacation is all about… playtime and carefree days.

Being a guest at Moody Gardens Hotel, Spa and Convention Center, we go the extra mile to make sure children have an experience of a lifetime. One way we delight the youngest visitors is with our complimentary program, Kids Crew.

Kids Crew offers supervised activities designed for children such as arts and crafts, scavenger hunts around the hotel, dino digs, bounce houses, kite flying, face painting, karaoke, video games, movie nights, s’mores and much more.

Parents must be present throughout the duration of their child’s involvement of the program. Children with special needs are welcome to participate in the Kids Crew program. Let our counselors know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate their needs.

Another popular place that children will love is our new Ropes Course and Zip Line. While the adults can climb on the 5 story structure, there is a ropes course for youngsters. Children between the ages of 2 through 7 love the Sky Tykes Ropes Course. The open course design allows for easy parent participation for any level of assistance needed. Parents are able to walk alongside their child or simply step back and watch them tackle the course independently.

As always, our Rainforest, Aquarium and Discovery Pyramids provide endless entertainment for children and adults. From watching the free roaming monkeys and birds fluttering throughout the temperate climate of the Rainforest Pyramid, to the penguins swimming, seals jumping and sharks gliding majestically throughout 1.5 million gallons of water. A trip to our Discovery Pyramid is sure to leave audiences delighted as they dive in the deep blue sea in the latest immersive experience featuring a world-known cartoon character.

A visit to Moody Gardens will leave the entire family delighted. Want to schedule your family vacation now? Call 1-888-388-8484 and receive a $50 resort credit on your two night stay. Cannot be combined with groups or other discounts.
